About Renee Pagan
Renee is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida . She completed her graduate Master of Arts in Professional Counseling (2012) from Liberty University. She comes to counseling with an educator’s background of over 30 years experience working with young people. Renee grew up in the Sarasota and also served internationally with the mission organization ABWE for almost 10 years in the U.S. and Brazil. Active in her community, she is fluent in Spanish, an artist, teacher, speaker, musician, and mentor.
Renee’s therapeutic experience includes an eclectic approach with emphasis on cognitive-behavioral therapy, including work with couples counseling, family systems, women’s issues, adolescent challenges, and Biblical counseling. She is a certified facilitator for the Prepare/Enrich Program to help pre-marital and seasoned couples. Special areas of interest in therapy include mood disorders, depression and anxiety, the challenges of teens, improvement of communication skills, group work, grief and loss, career exploration, and spiritual support and encouragement. She is a member of the Association of Christian Counselors.
